St. Elizabeth Healthcare in the greater Cincinnati region is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess pulmonary status, administer therapies, and support cardio-pulmonary function under physician orders.

This position involves teamwork across multiple units and continuous patient care improvement. You will maintain equipment, follow safety and infection control protocols, mentor students, and participate in the Sleep Disorders Team, delivering high-quality patient care across ages.

Formación

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC credential.
• Current state mandatory certification to practice Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate degree in applied science or equivalent.
• ACLS certification required post-hire if not already certified.

Responsabilidades

• Administers safe respiratory treatments and gas therapy per standards to restore cardio-pulmonary function.
• Maintains equipment and supplies with proper decontamination and sterilization.
• Keeps a clean, safe, organized work environment.
• Follows regulations and completes required safety, infection control and competency programs.
• Documents and communicates therapy effects to ensure continuity of care.
• Mentors students from clinical affiliates and collaborates with the care team.
• Provides ventilator support under physician orders and conducts diagnostic tests as needed.
• Performs bedside spirometry for the PFT lab when required.

Educación

Associate degree in applied science or equivalent

Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (NBRC)

State license to practice Respiratory Therapy

ACLS certification (post-hire if not already certified)
