Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state.
• Must understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion.
• Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct our Facility’s respiratory therapy, as well as its programs and activities.
• Meet with administration and staff to plan therapy services.
• Provide emergency care including artificial respiration and CPR assistance.
• Develop, maintain, and update respiratory therapy procedures and care plans.
• Supervise and mentor staff and students in respiratory therapy practices.
