McCrea Manor Care Center in Alliance, OH is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and support residents with breathing disorders. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in a long-term care setting.

The role emphasizes licensure compliance, safety, and program development, plus coaching staff and ensuring accurate respiratory therapy procedures.

Qualifications

Must hold a current, unencumbered Respiratory Therapist license in the state.
Proficient in English; clear communication with residents and staff.
Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
Knowledge of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
Ability to minimize waste of supplies and avoid equipment misuse.
Open to adopting new methods and principles in practice.
Able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

Plan and direct respiratory therapy programs following applicable rules and guidelines.
Meet with administrative and clinical teams to coordinate therapy services.
Develop policies, procedures, and care plans for respiratory therapy.
Review respiratory therapy policies and participate in updates.
Determine staffing needs for the respiratory therapy department.
Recruit and train respiratory therapy personnel with leadership support.
Provide emergency care and supervise procedures as needed.
