Piqua Care Center in Ohio is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for residents with breathing disorders. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and maintain a safe environment for residents.

The role includes administrative oversight of respiratory therapy programs, staff development, and compliance with safety standards. Strong licensed practice and English language skills are required for timely decision-making and patient

Formación

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state.
• Must understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion.
• Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's respiratory therapy programs in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Coordinate with administration, medical and nursing staff in planning therapy services.
• Provide emergency care including CPR assistance.
• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment.
• Develop care plans and conduct resident assessments with the care team.
• Train and supervise staff and students in respiratory therapy practices.
