Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credentials required.
• Active license in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• This position is not remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and monitoring.
• Provide treatment to optimize residents' respiratory function.
• Wean and manage supplemental oxygen and tracheostomies as appropriate.
• Educate residents and caregivers on respiratory care.
• Operate respiratory equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with the medical team to reduce readmissions.
