Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credentials.
• Active license in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
• CPR certified; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Experience as a Respiratory Therapist in Home Health, LTACH, or sub-acute setting is a plus.
• This position is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient evaluation.
• Provide thorough medical record evaluation.
• Provide appropriate treatment to maintain or attain the highest respiratory function.
• Evaluate, treat, and care for residents with respiratory problems including tracheostomies and suctioning.
• Evaluate resident care and outcomes related to respiratory care and recommend changes to the care plan.
