Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess, monitor and treat residents, promoting respiratory health. The role supports independence and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, aiming to reduce avoidable readmissions.

Requires active CRT or RRT credentials and Illinois license; CPR; ACLS preferred. On-site in Illinois; LTACH/home health experience a plus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k match, paid leave, and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credentials.
• Active Illinois license in good standing.
• CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Home Health/LTACH/sub-acute setting experience a plus.
• This position is not remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient evaluation.
• Provide thorough medical record evaluation.
• Administer treatments to maintain respiratory function.
• Care for residents with tracheostomies and suctioning.
• Analyze outcomes and adjust care plans as needed.
• Manage and wean supplemental oxygen and trachs.
• Support pulmonary rehab modalities and staff education.
• Maintain respiratory supply stock and assist nursing.
