Our team of skilled respiratory therapists works collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education. We utilize the latest technology and evidence‑based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Scope of Work

The Respiratory Therapist Flex Regional agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East. This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at the Corewell Health Southfield Center.

Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; and assists with general department functions.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Attainment of RRT NBRC status (Required)
• 3 years of relevant clinical experience (Required)
• LIC-Respiratory Therapist – State of Michigan (Required upon hire)
• CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry – NBRC (Required upon hire)
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association (or) BLS – ARC American Red Cross (Required upon hire)
