Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital's Pulmonary Rehab - Troy Hosp is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care under minimal direction. You’ll educate patients and support equipment and department operations at Troy.

Responsibilities include implementing patient-specific therapies, collaborating with physicians, and participating in staff training while upholding safety and quality standards in a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• RRT NBRC status required on hire.
• MI state licensure required on hire.
• NBRC CRT registry required on hire.
• BLS required (AHA or ARC) on hire.

About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital

In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.

Scope of Work

Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.

Qualifications

• Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
• Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status. Required
• LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
• CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
