Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, PA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist. Under supervision, you will set up and operate respiratory care equipment and deliver prescribed medications to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions.
Responsibilities include oxygen therapy, ABG sampling, recognizing patient changes, ventilator management, pulse oximetry, and educating patients and families. A valid PA RT license and NBRC registration are required.

Under supervision of the department manager and/upon request of the physician order, the Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease or illness. Also, delivery of medications needed to assist in control of Respiratory ailments.
