Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to guide patients through routine and critical care, working across emergency, ICU, and acute settings. Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of start date
• Associate Degree required
• NBRC-RRT or equivalent state license/certification required

Responsibilities

• Assessing respiratory status through focused exams and breath sounds and determining need for interventions
• Delivering evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance techniques across care settings
• Managing ventilation and airways, including invasive and noninvasive support and monitoring patient response
• Educating patients and families, acting as a clinical resource, and supporting care teams
• Maintaining and cleaning respiratory equipment, ensuring readiness and infection prevention standards

Education

Associate Degree

NBRC-RRT or RRT/RCP-State certification
