Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP state licensure or practitioner credential required.
• NBRC-RRT certification required.
• Associate Degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families; act as a clinical resource for the team.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment; ensure readiness and safety standards.
