Job summary

HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide critical care and routine respiratory support at Medical City Heart & Spine Hospitals. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across emergency, critical care, and acute settings with access to advanced respiratory technology, under mentorship from experienced RT leaders.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, educate patients and families, and help stabilize newborns when needed while maintaining high

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT certification required.
• State license for RRT/Practitioner where applicable.
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen therapy, aerosolized meds, airway clearance techniques, and related treatments.
• Manage ventilation and airway support, including invasive and noninvasive modes.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate with physicians and nurses.
• Maintain and disinfect equipment; ensure readiness and safety standards.
