Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• Credentialed by the NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• BLS, NRP is required (NRP for NICU if applicable).
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced therapeutic procedures according to policy.
• Reviews and documents all clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and co-workers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures.
• Provides care based on patient age and clinical needs.
• Maintains professional certifications and up-to-date knowledge.
• Attends staff meetings.
• Other related duties as required.
