Essentia Health Virginia Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care across the full age range, from infants to adults. You will assess, plan, intervene, educate, and evaluate patient care, including ventilation support and arterial blood gas procedures.

The role requires an accredited respiratory care program graduate, state licensure within hire or pending, and BCLS certification within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/therapy program.
• State licensure required or pending within 30 days of hire.
• BCLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Perform general and critical care respiratory care procedures for patients from infant to adult.
• Manage ventilation, airway support, and related diagnostics and therapies.
