Job summary

Associate Staffing seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive respiratory care across a clinical healthcare environment. You will assess patients, administer prescribed treatments, monitor responses, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe outcomes.

This role requires NC licensure, NBRC CRT or RRT credentials, and BLS. Prior acute-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Current NC Respiratory Care Practitioner license or eligibility.
• NBRC CRT or RRT credential as required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to assess patients and respond in urgent situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork across care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and recommend respiratory care interventions.
• Administer oxygen and prescribed therapies.
• Manage ventilation and respiratory-support equipment.
• Perform airway management and respond to emergencies.
• Collect data including blood gases and pulmonary measurements.
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to infection-control and safety standards.
• Participate in emergency response and resuscitation when required.
