Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine and critical care with access to advanced respiratory technology and mentorship from RT leaders.

You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across emergency, critical care, and acute settings, coordinating with physicians and nurses to stabilize patients and support newborn care when needed.

Qualifications

• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• RRT/RCP-State license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications must be obtained within stated timelines.
• High School or equivalent required; associate/bachelor/certificate in respiratory care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and airflow assessment.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosolized meds, and airway clearance techniques.
• Manage ventilation and airways, including invasive and noninvasive support and emergency response.
