Qualifications

• ACLS within 6 months of employment start date
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date
• NBRC-RRT certification
• RRT/RCP-State licensure
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate/Bachelor degree or certificate

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status via focused exams and airway patency checks.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance techniques, and other therapies across care settings.
• Assist with artificial airway placement; manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation; monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families; support care team and collaborate with physicians and nurses.
• Set up, operate, and maintain respiratory equipment; ensure infection prevention standards.
