Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days
• RRT/Practitioner credential must be held or eligible

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and airway patency checks
• Deliver evidence-based therapy including oxygen, aerosols, and airway clearance
• Manage ventilation and airway support, invasive and noninvasive
• Educate patients and families and support care team
• Maintain and sanitize equipment and ensure infection prevention standards
