HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center in Houston, TX seeks a Respiratory Therapist to guide patients through routine care and critical moments. You’ll perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across emergency, critical care, and acute settings with access to advanced respiratory technology and mentorship.

You will contribute to patient care by supporting families, coordinating with physicians and nurses, and maintaining equipment while adhering to infection-prevention standards; the role

Formación

• Completion of a 2- or 4-year approved respiratory care program (Associates or Bachelors).
• Registered NBRC certification and Texas licensure required; BCLS and NRP within six months of hire.
• PALS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess respiratory status with focused exams and interpret findings.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy across emergency, critical care, and acute settings.
• Manage ventilation and airway interventions, invasive and noninvasive.
• Educate patients and families; act as a clinical resource for care teams.
• Maintain equipment and uphold infection-prevention standards.
