You will operate advanced respiratory equipment, deliver therapies, and assist with ventilated patients while collaborating with physicians and nurses.

The role emphasizes patient education, preparedness, and ongoing professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active credential as Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Must hold NBRC-RRT certification and state license where applicable.
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP and PALS credentials or eligibility within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosols, airway clearance techniques, and other therapies.
• Manage ventilation and artificial airways; monitor patient response.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with care team; assist in newborn stabilization when needed.
• Maintain equipment, ensure infection prevention, and transport ventilated patients safely.
