Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy and life support for a diverse patient population under supervision of the respiratory care leadership. You will perform assessments, administer medications, document progress, and participate in hospital initiatives.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved Associate's degree, current BLS, NRP within 6 months of hire, NH license with NBRC registry eligibility, and RRT credentials at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an Associate's degree from an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers; NRP within 6 months of hire.
• NH license in Respiratory Care; NBRC registry eligible; RRT at hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and adapts to changing clinical conditions.
• Administers medication to patients.
• Documents care provided and patient's progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Involves self in departmental and hospital initiatives.
• Obtains required intubations.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Acts as a preceptor to staff and students.
• Utilizes the hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operations.
• Completes departmental and hospital requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
