Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care professional to administer respiratory therapy and life support under supervision. The role covers a wide age range and requires an associate degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA‑approved school.

The candidate must hold current BLS, obtain NRP within 6 months of hire, and be licensed in New Hampshire with NBRC registry eligibility; RRT credential is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA‑approved program.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent credentialed by AHA.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• NH State Respiratory Care license; NBRC registry eligible; RRT credential required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and adapts to changing clinical conditions.
• Administers medication to patients.
• Documents care provided and patient's progress toward attainment of desired outcomes.
• Involves self in departmental and hospital initiatives.
• Obtains required intubations.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Acts as a preceptor to staff and students.
• Utilizes hospital and departmental information, technology systems and equipment operations.
• Completes departmental and hospital requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
