Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy and life support under supervision, caring for patients from neonates to geriatrics in a safe environment.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care, BLS certification, and NH licensure. Neonatal resuscitation must be completed within 6 months of hire, with NBRC registry eligibility within 2 years. Sign-on bonus eligible.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Respiratory Care required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Neonatal Resuscitation required within 6 months of hire.
• Registry eligibility through NBRC; must obtain within 2 years after hire.
• Current New Hampshire State Respiratory Care license.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and adapts to changing clinical conditions.
• Administers medications to patients.
• Documents care provided and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Acts as a preceptor to staff and students.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Utilizes hospital information systems and equipment operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
