Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer respiratory therapy and life support to patients across the hospital, from neonates to geriatrics, under supervision.

You will perform initial and ongoing assessments, administer medications, document progress, participate in hospital initiatives, and ensure safety in a dynamic environment. NH licensure and NBRC eligibility are required, with BLS, and NRP within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care from AMA-approved program.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• NRP required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments and adapts to changing clinical conditions.
• Administers medication to patients.
• Documents care provided and patient progress.
• Involves self in departmental and hospital initiatives.
• Obtains required intubations.
• Manages time and workload fluctuations.
• Acts as a preceptor to staff and students.
• Utilizes hospital information systems and equipment operations.
• Completes departmental and hospital requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
