Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide direct patient care across respiratory therapies in accordance with physician orders.

The role requires licensure as an RCP with NBRC-credentialed RRT and CoARC-approved education; PALS is required for ER staff. ACLS and critical-care exposure are preferred; no prior experience is required. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• PALS required for ER coworkers.
• ACLS preferred.
• Experience: None.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
