Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver direct patient care per physician orders in a hospital setting. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for medical staff.

Requirements include CoARC-approved education, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. ACLS/PALS may be required for ER staff. Mercy supports growth and teamwork within a compassionate health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• License: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in state.
• Certification: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). PALS as required for ER coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care as ordered by physicians.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy and acts as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff.
