Vetted Solutions seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to deliver direct respiratory care within hospital guidelines. You will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care while collaborating with healthcare teams and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities include advanced critical care support such as ECMO and mechanical ventilation, with a focus on safety, quality, and developmentally appropriate patient care in a collaborative environment.
Provides direct respiratory care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within hospital and department guidelines. Demonstrates advanced clinical expertise, troubleshooting, and independently applies best practices to support patient safety and quality care. Works collaboratively with healthcare teams, effectively communicates, and educates patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures.

Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures, supporting advanced critical care activities such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep studies. Maintains compliance with regulatory standards and quality initiatives while prioritizing patient developmentally appropriate care.
Qualifications include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program, valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license, BLS certification, and RRT credential. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and experience in complex respiratory procedures. Strong communication, teaching, and time management skills are essential.
