You will participate in diagnostics and therapies, educate patients and families, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while collaborating with colleagues and other departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licenses and certifications including Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT), Basic Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• No prior experience required; ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively through documentation, handoffs, and collaboration with team members.
• Educate patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse teaching methods.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to standards, troubleshooting as needed.
• Demonstrate advanced skills supporting procedures like ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, sleep labs, and more.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory and quality improvement standards.
