Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for night shift (6:30p–7a) in Indiana. The role requires a minimum of 24 hours per month (two 12-hour shifts) and one fall/winter holiday per year. Daily Pay is available, along with comprehensive benefits from day one.

Join our Respiratory Care team to provide care from oxygen therapy to patient assessments and contribute to positive patient outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Indiana Respiratory Therapist licensure.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC.
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery or Bronchoscopy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy to stabilize or remedy respiratory problems, operates oxygen and other therapies, and records data in patient records.

What you'll do:

• Provides respiratory therapy designed to stabilize, prevent or remedy patient respiratory problems. Arranges and operates a variety of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and aerosolized, meter dosed, or powdered medications to patients. Operates various mechanical devices that aid in the recovery of patients. Cleans and checks equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient records.

What you’ll need:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited program
• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Indiana
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through the National Board of respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Experience in Critical Care, NICU, Open Heart Recovery, and Bronchoscopy preferred
