Join Our Team as a Respiratory Therapist at Hillcrest HealthCare System

We are seeking a PRN, Night Shift Respiratory Therapist in Owasso, OK.

About Your Team

Bailey Medical Center offers comprehensive medical services including general surgery, maternity, gynecology, bariatrics, orthopedics, and emergency care. It is a technologically advanced 73-bed hospital.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases.
• Administer respiratory gases and medications, and modes of therapy.
• Respond to emergencies across the hospital.
• Advise on arterial blood gas results.
• Assist in transporting mechanically ventilated patients.
• Assist in ordering department supplies.
• Record verbal and telephone orders from physicians.
• Serve as a resource for staff regarding respiratory procedures.
• May assume a Charge role in the absence of the Respiratory Supervisor.
• Participate in departmental training and Quality Assurance programs.
• Work schedule includes alternate weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care
• CRT or RRT certification from NBRC
• BLS certification (upon hire)
• ACLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
• NRP certification (within 60 days of hire)

• One year of relevant experience
