Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week contract at a Skilled Nursing Facility. Roles include administering respiratory care, monitoring status, and collaborating with the care team. New grads accepted and several day shift options are available.

Travelers may receive housing and meal stipends; great support and flexibility to extend or move to new areas. Join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care across the USA.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Current BLS/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Current TB test/results must be current.
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year).

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care and treatments to patients.
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.

Position: Respiratory Therapist

Shifts: Days, several schedule options available

Pay: Excellent Rate that includes Hourly + Housing & Travel Stipend (for travelers)

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Respiratory Therapy License in the state of employment (or ability to obtain) New Grads Accepted!
• Current BLS/CPR Certification, or ability to obtain
• Current TB test/results
• Current physical stating fit for duty (within past year)
• Strong Leadership and Critical thinking capabilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administer respiratory care and treatments to patients with respiratory illnesses or conditions.
• Assess and monitor patients' respiratory status, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and techniques for managing symptoms.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress.
