Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) – Location: unspecified. This clinical position involves providing specialized respiratory care within an inpatient hospital setting, supporting adult ICU, pediatric ICU, and neonatal ICU units. The role requires clinical expertise, flexibility, and adherence to safety standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Need start date of October 5, 2026, for an assignment lasting approximately 16-26 weeks. The shift is Days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and a valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an RRT, with documented NICU levels, applicability in teaching hospital environments, and recent Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional Information: The position requires working 2 out of the 4 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day. All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained; full employment history with details such as bed count, Electronic Medical Record systems, and facility type is mandatory for submission. Round-the-clock availability is essential, with no block schedules permitted. Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays. Reliable transportation is strongly recommended, with vehicles equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
