Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Aurora, CO.

Assignment Overview

• Start Date: Jul 20, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) 3x12hrs
• Employment Type: Travel

Details

• 350‑bed acute care hospital with a respiratory therapy department staffed by 38 professionals
• Typical staffing ratio: 1 charge therapist + 5 staff therapists per shift
• Equipment: Hamilton G5, Hamilton C1, Hamilton T1, V60, Vyaire Avea ventilators
• EMR: Meditech (prior experience preferred)
• Experience in PEDS, NICU, and PICU preferred

Qualifications

• Current RRT credential (NBRC) or CRT license
• Minimum 6 months of acute‑care RRT hospital experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; none expiring within 30 days of assignment start)
• Active state license if applicable
• US SSN and DOB required
• One professional reference
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not eligible)
