Job summary

Focus Staff is seeking a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to support a Denver, CO hospital during a COVID-19 crisis. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to implement an effective patient care plan and ensure safety and quality of care.

The role is a 13-week contract with 3x12-hour shifts, offering competitive compensation, health insurance, 401K matching, new licensing reimbursement, and extensive travel staffing coverage nationwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience.
• CPR/BCLS certification required; additional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient and develop a treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care for critically ill patients.
• Perform insertion/removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Support continuous quality improvement.
• Educate and counsel patients and families.

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us to provide quality patient care during this COVID 19 Crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Shift: 3x12 Days

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Being Compassionate and sensitive is a prerequisite for the profession.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families

Work Experience:

At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities:
