Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to provide comprehensive patient care across home, office, and clinical settings. You will instru ct equipment and perform maintenance while supporting billing documentation and HIPAA compliance.

You’ll collaborate with CPAP/BIPAP program managers, drive patient satisfaction, and participate in ongoing training to ensure high-quality respiratory care and equipment management for diverse client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in Medicare certified HME environment preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Dept and managers to provide equipment instruction and service.
• Set up PAP devices and communicate instructions clearly.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs per policy and guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Document delivery tickets and equipment instruction forms accurately.
• Promote services to community referral sources as appropriate.
