Zusammenfassung

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train staff, troubleshoot respiratory equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and billing practices.

You will work with CPAP/BIPAP programs, coordinate with department managers, and maintain patient confidentiality while supporting quality improvement initiatives. A valid driver's license and Medicare-ready experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Medicare certified HME environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence is required.

Aufgaben

• Provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients with department staff.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks; convey instructions clearly.
• Conduct follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes; escalate urgent needs to clinical support.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and complete required documentation and billing paperwork.
