Job summary

GSK in the United States is seeking a Specialty Account Specialist to lead scientific engagement with specialist customers for our respiratory portfolio. You will collaborate with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical and other functions to drive value and access.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree, up to 30% travel, and a valid driver’s license. Compensation includes a US base salary range of 147,750–246,250 USD plus annual bonus and long-term incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; background in pharmaceutical or medical device is favorable.
• Experience engaging specialist customers and payer landscape knowledge is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with Marketing, Payer Relations, Medical and other teams.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 30% and maintain compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Scientific Knowledge, Business Acumen, and Customer Engagement expertise to specialist customers in support of a GSK biologic product.
• Understand the reimbursement/distribution landscape for specialist customers and refer to appropriate resources for reimbursement and distribution choices.
• Maintain knowledge of severe asthma therapeutic expertise and related guidelines.
• Provide product educational programs/in-services to customers.
• Work within Compliance guidelines and GSK values.
• Develop strategies and tactics to generate sales.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Marketing, Payer Relations Managers, Medical and other functions within GSK.
• Effectively manage allocated resources (financial).
• Provide outstanding customer service by responding to customers' requests and needs.
