Job summary

GSK US is seeking a Specialty Account Specialist to support pulmonology and respiratory specialists in Seattle and surrounding areas. You will build relationships, deliver clinical education, and navigate payer access to drive patient access and service.

The role offers a field-based, travel-heavy schedule with cross-functional collaboration. Seniority levels depend on experience (5+ years for Specialty Account Specialist, 12+ years for Senior Specialty Account Specialist).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
• Ability to travel domestically, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive as required for the role.
• The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience: Specialty Account Specialist (grade 8): 5+ years; Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade 7): 12+ years.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialist customers, including pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists and practice managers.
• Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and support to specialist teams.
• Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
• Develop tailored account plans and tactics to drive patient access and service.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners, including market access, medical affairs, and marketing.
• Adhere to compliance and ethical guidelines in all customer interactions.
