Job summary

AdaptHealth is hiring a Respiratory Support Technician to deliver comprehensive patient care across home, office, and hospital settings. You will train new staff, assist with PAP equipment setup, and ensure safe, effective delivery of respiratory products and services.

Responsibilities include equipment troubleshooting, follow-up care, and adherence to HIPAA and company policies, with a focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction in the Florida service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy or DME services preferred.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Respiratory Department Staff to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting for respiratory patients.
• Set up and fit PAP patients with appropriate equipment and masks, communicating instructions clearly.
• Conduct patient follow-up calls/visits to ensure optimal care outcomes and escalate as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and simple repairs per policy and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and proper documentation for billing and patient records.
