Job summary

IU Health in Bloomington is seeking a Respiratory Care Educator to coordinate and deliver education for respiratory care staff, students, and professionals, with travel to Bedford, Bloomington and Paoli facilities. The role supports orientation, continuing education, and competency development.

The Educator partners with colleges to provide clinical experiences, leads projects, and drives quality initiatives while maintaining training records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care, Education, or related field is required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential is required.
• Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide educational programs for respiratory care staff, students, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support new employee orientation, continuing education initiatives, and competency development.
• Partner with colleges/universities to facilitate clinical experiences and instruction for respiratory care students.
• Lead departmental projects and quality initiatives as assigned.
• Maintain educational records, training documentation, and competency tracking.
