Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Respiratory Clinical Education Specialist to lead educational programs for respiratory care staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

The role focuses on policy development, competency testing, and ongoing staff education, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and expert patient care across adult and critical care services. Minimum 3 years' experience and RRT certification required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Certification: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and CPR certification (American Heart Association) are required.
• Experience: Minimum three years' experience in respiratory therapy required.
• License: Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a specialty area expert to staff and patients for respiratory care services and collaborates with multidisciplinary caregivers.
• Oversees respiratory care policy and procedure development and coordinates educational programs to ensure compliance.
• Provides expert clinical resource support for Respiratory Care staff across all aspects of services.
• Maintains awareness of regulatory guidelines, new standards of care, medical products, equipment, and technology.
• Develops competency testing and educational programs accordingly.
• Administers respiratory therapies and manages treatments and equipment, including patient education and documentation.
• Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff to improve services and initiates quality improvement protocols.
