Job summary

ConnectedHealth in Great Falls, MT seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver specialized respiratory care and collaborate with physicians to implement treatment plans. You will support growth in a supportive environment, working with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.

The role requires AT LEAST an accredited degree, NBRC RRT certification, MT license or eligibility, and BLS. ACLS is preferred. You will educate patients and families and ensure equipment safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC.
• Current Montana Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitor and record patient responses to treatment.
• Perform diagnostic procedures such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Maintain and operate ventilators and other respiratory support equipment.
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response Team calls.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies.
• Ensure all equipment is sanitized, functional, and complies with safety standards.
