Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for diverse patient populations in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have current certification or licensure in the state where the hospital resides, along with BLS and ACLS certification; Nevada experience requires blood gas licensure.

A high school diploma or higher (associate degree preferred) is recommended.

Qualifications

• Certification or state licensure to practice respiratory care.
• Minimum one year of clinical respiratory care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment and ensures it is in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
