Job summary

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience or a willingness to learn in a diverse patient population.

The RCP will perform routine and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, maintain equipment, and provide phlebotomy as needed. Certifications and state licensure are required, with NV-specific licensure if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients; maintains equipment in working order.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory tests as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education

Respiratory care licensure (state)

Blood gas licensure (NV)
