Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our inpatient team. You will provide cardiopulmonary care for a diverse patient population and maintain all equipment in working order.

The role requires state licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, with blood gas licensure if in Nevada; an associate degree is preferred, high school diploma acceptable.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state to practice respiratory care.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in Nevada.
• Associate degree preferred; high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency procedures for patients.
• Maintains all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Performs phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
