Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience or a commitment to learn and provide compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities include routine therapy, diagnostic procedures, emergency cardiopulmonary care, and maintaining equipment. Licensing, BLS and ACLS certification are required, with preferred blood gas licensure in applicable states.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in select states; high school diploma or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintains and operates respiratory care equipment.
• Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
