Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to support inpatient care for a diverse patient population. The role involves performing routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintaining equipment.

Candidates should be licensed in the state, hold BLS and ACLS, and have at least one year of clinical respiratory experience; Nevada blood gas licensure is required if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required, preferably an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Maintain all respiratory equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required.
