We are seeking talented professionals to join our team at University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center. Respiratory Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform various respiratory care treatments for adult, pediatric, or neonatal patients.
2. Explain treatments to patients and/or families before administration.
3. Monitor physical signs, symptoms, behavior, and response to treatments; collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.
4. Terminate treatments if patients experience discomfort or medical instability.
5. Participate in CPR procedures, including airway management, ventilation, and cardiac compressions.
6. Administer therapeutic and diagnostic gases, bronchodilators, chest physiotherapy, and aerosolized medications as directed by physicians.
7. Assist physicians with artificial airway procedures, including insertion, maintenance, and removal.
8. Perform suctioning of artificial and nasal/oral airways using sterile techniques.
