Pursue your passion for caring with Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, North Carolina. The smallest of Duke Health's four hospitals at 123 beds, it offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, women's services, and surgical specialties.
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures as defined in the Respiratory Care Services scope of clinical practice. Work performed in accordance with physician orders. Duties include working with neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
Must have the knowledge to make appropriate clinical decisions, maintain certifications, and meet annual safety and license requirements. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to lift over 30 pounds, walk, climb, and bend is required.
Completion of a 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program or current enrollment, with registry eligibility. Licensure in North Carolina or provisional license, and BLS certification are required.
